AN ELECTRA TO JAM WITH UK PRIME MINISTER?!

KERRY-BLAIR SUMMITS WOULD ROCK!

Apart from very similar social policies and enlightened progressive views on society - there is another bond that links founding member of the Electras Senator John Kerry and British Prime Minister Tony Blair - that would certainly enhance the Special Relationship between the US and UK under a Kerry presidency.

Both men have a great love of contemporary music and displayed their team-player qualities in their younger days by playing in rock bands with friends.

John Kerry played bass in his high-school rock band The Electras between 1960-1962. And Tony Blair played guitar in his college band The Ugly Rumours in 1971.

Both Kerry (who subsequently took up playing guitar) and Blair - have continued to make music occasionally. And both Kerry and Blair are Beatles fans. So summit meetings between the two leaders might lead to the occasional jam session. The other members of the Electras look forward to being invited to the Kerry White House and inviting Tony Blair to sit in with The Electras.
